Silo
Silo is a composite chair designed by Benni Allan. The design stays true to Allan’s interest in making objects that want to be engaged with, combining pure forms into an elegant piece with a sculptural presence.
A play on weight and space, the Silo maintains a heavy appearance, whilst being composed entirely of lightweight fibreglass.
Uma produces the Silo in a collection of finishes specially developed with the designer including Plaster White and Carob Brown. Multicoloured trimmings from the production process are folded into the gelcoat to produce a finely textured, upcycled finish suitable for indoor and outdoor arrangements. Custom colours are available upon request.
